ANZUK Teachers is a provider of temporary and permanent school based staff that are sourced directly from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK. Our teachers are professional, reliable and ready to work hard for our client schools.

Where?

The work centre for ANZUK's England operation is our Head Office in Tower Bridge, London. Here, we employ a team of skilled and committed staff to manage our teachers and our client schools. Over 90% of our permanent office staff are teachers who have worked in the UK prior to taking on positions in our recruitment team. This ensures that our teachers have the most up-to-date knowledge and information as they prepare to teach in England. Our head recruiting base in Australia provides us with a constant intake of experienced and well referenced teachers that are flexible, energetic and ready to teach when they arrive in England.

How?

As a young and energetic company, providing an outstanding and reliable service to our schools it is extremely important to us. We take the same approach in managing our teachers. This is endorsed by the fact that 80% of the teachers we recruit come directly from the referrals of existing ANZUK teachers. The savings we make on advertising from these referrals are then passed directly onto our teaching staff. Generous pay rates enable us to retain the best teachers.

In 2007, ANZUK expanded its services to include recruiting and placing Australian, Canadian, UK and New Zealand trained teachers to work in Australian schools. This has enabled us to develop positive working relationships with local schools, and in doing so, gives us greater opportunity to attract and recruit young, reliable and currently employed teachers who are about to embark on a UK Teaching experience.
 ANZUK is proud to have been awarded the UK Quality Mark for Education after an extensive application and inspection process from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.  For the 3 years prior to attaining this award we developed watertight recruitment and vetting procedures to ensure that only the best teachers were employed and represented by our agency.

When?

At ANZUK, we recruit, manage and support our teachers all year round. Our office is manned from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, personal contact is still made with our recruitment team by calling our after hours, on call service, which guarantees that your school will receive an efficient and hassle free response to your booking request.  With every school allocated a School Manager you can be sure that our management team is dedicated to maintaining an extremely high level of service, and our staff share this dedication to excellence. Our School Managers take the time to learn about their schools.  This helps to guarantee that your school will receive a friendly, efficient and personalised service from an ANZUK consultant who knows and understands your needs.

An integral part of the service we provide includes assisting our overseas teachers with practical necessities such as opening bank accounts, understanding the national curriculum, finding accommodation, organising National Insurance, advising on tax arrangements, undertaking overseas police checks and UK CRB checks and navigating the UK transport system. In doing this, we have built a team of well prepared and enthusiastic staff who are "Ready to Teach" when they arrive on English soil.
