CRT Preparation

When you are on temporary assignment with ANZUK Education Services you will be bound to our terms of business and terms of engagement. Since you are representing ANZUK Teachers when on assignment you must conduct yourself appropriately with regards to dress code and behaviour. You are never contractually bound to work exclusively through our agency, however if a school we have introduced you to requests your services for additional work it must be cleared with ANZUK Education Services management.

What you will need to take on your placement

  1. VIT Registration Card
  2. Evidence of your current Criminal Records Check

Our dress code is common sense. Your professional image relates to how people see you.   Make sure you are always presented in a neat and tidy manner.

Pay

You are paid fortnightly on a Friday for the previous fortnights work. Pay rates will be agreed at interview before you work in any client schools.
Superannuation

Superannuation is paid at 9% of income quarterly, where income earned exceeds $450 a month; this is regardless of how many schools you have worked at. Our default fund is Vic Super.

Work Cover

Many agencies will not acknowledge their relief teachers as employees, instead, they refer to themselves as ‘payroll administrators’, in effect negating themselves of legal responsibility should an accident occur. ANZUK Education Services acknowledges our responsibility as your employer. We pay your Work Cover to protect you while at work.

Smoking

You are not allowed to smoke under any circumstance in any school in Victoria.

Alcohol and Drugs

We operate a strict policy regarding Alcohol and Illicit Drugs. Under no circumstance should you ever be under the influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs before or during a school placement. If you are out drinking on a school night and feel you still have alcohol in your system in the morning, we will need you to inform us by 7.30am so we can find a replacement for the day.
