What comments do you have about the services provided by ANZUK?
I have only positive comments about ANZUK. From my earliest interactions with ANZUK while still in Canada, I have felt very well “taken care of”. I have appreciated being provided with detailed and organized information of how to get the paper work started before arrival, and have only felt welcomed and supported since being in Australia. The ANZUK office employees have been nothing but approachable, friendly and professional – and they put on great social events too!
How did you ensure success as a teacher in ANZUK’s schools?
Be flexible, professional and ready to learn! Be ready for anything and just have fun!
How would you rate the quality of ANZUK’s schools and the quantity of work you have received?
All the schools I have been to have been well staffed, well funded and open to new people and ideas. The work I have received has been of great quality. I have been fortunate to make connections with the schools I have worked with – with both the students and the staff. Working for ANZUK I feel both valued and appreciated by students and staff.
What advice do you have for future Canadians coming to teach in Melbourne?
It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Embrace every day and every experience as it comes. I have learned so much about myself as an individual and as a teacher. Be ready to teach, but be even more ready to learn.
